The 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games offer a unique opportunity to showcase the very best of Britain.
The construction industry expects to make an outstanding contribution that delivers sustainable, exemplary projects with long term benefits for the local community and the nation.
As a result, the 2012 Construction Commitments was drafted to bring together the six key areas vital not just to delivering the Games’ vision in time, safely and to budget, but to delivering all construction projects and driving the sector to new levels of performance over the next four years. The 2012 Construction Commitments initiative has led to Constructing Excellence's development of a new web-based product called 2012 Construction Commitments Tracker or 2012 Tracker.
2012 Tracker is an evaluation and diagnostic tool which will ascertain if an on-going construction project first, meets the OGC's Common Minimum Standards (CMS) for procurement of works in the built environment, and second, performs in accordance with the 2012 Construction Commitments. 2012 Tracker will assess the project and give useful recommendations leading to better project performance.
2012 Tracker can be used by clients, project managers, contractors, consultants or anyone that is knowledgeable about the particular project being assessed. 2012 Tracker can be used at any stage of the project.
We are inviting you to test-run 2012 Tracker and to give us your feedback so we can further fine-tune its operation before launching.
Thank you for your time and your interest in the 2012 Tracker development.
